All I am saying is it is alot easier findin a good college team if he is from a bigger school. This is not like football, if he doesn't play in a league that is competitive he will never reach his potential.

Should you really start worrying about your Major league career before you are even in HS? LOL Lets let the kids play ball because it is fun any not try to make it there job just yet.
And even then, its funny, everything you hear anymore is about the scouting on all levels has gotten so good, that they will find the diamonds in the rough (so to speak) no matter where they are. They were discussing this in the NBA draft (players that have played like 1 year of an organized sport), dealing in football with Arena, CFL, NFL Europe, etc.), and baseball (small colleges, even small high schools).
The going to big schools mentality can turn around and bite negatively just as much as positively, as I can recall more than one incident where a big fish went to another pond thinking they would get more attention by colleges, and instead they became a part to a bigger machine but was overlooked as being able to be an actual important part.
That being said, this is a small area, but if the talent is there, its amazing how they get found no problem.
